Book Review: Went to London, Took the Dog, Nina Stibbe

Nina Stibbe Went to London, Took The Dog review

While not strictly a book about the menopause “Went to London, Took the dog’ is the hilarious diary of local author Nina Stibbe. When Nina turns 60, she decides to take a year sabbatical from her married life in Cornwall, to lodge with writer Debby Moggach in London.

Nina finds herself discussing the menopause will friends and actually books a consultation with me at my Leicester clinic. She explains a bit about the process of our consultation and is open and honest about her experiences, not only with me but in life’s trials and tribulations!

So, while I honestly enjoyed reading this book and it made me laugh out loud in places, I actually feature it. See if you can spot the page where Nina mentions her consultation with me! My claim to fame!
