Meet Aly Dilks, our Menopause Specialist
Qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1988 and a Midwife in 1992, Aly has had a varied career across a whole spectrum of specialities within nursing, from homeless healthcare to completing a Masters in Diabetes. The majority of her career has been spent in the field of Women's Health and has been working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in a GP surgery in Leicestershire for the past 7 years.

Passionate about helping women to understand their menopause, Aly offers advice and treatment to help with their symptoms. You can read feedback from patients here.

She has had several articles published both professionally and in many journals and is a regular writer for Active Magazine and Liz Earle Wellbeing, actively promoting menopause awareness and how this can be addressed in the workplace, offering a service to talk at corporate level. She has also been involved with teaching GP and pharmacists how to conduct a menopause consultation in a busy NHS GP practice.

Out of work, she is a gregarious person with a good sense of humour, but remains professional at all times. She lives with her 3 children, 2 spaniels and yellow labrador and can often be seen walking across the fields early in the morning with her dogs while planning her busy day ahead.

The role of the CQC is to monitor, inspect and regulate health services to ensure they meet the fundamental standards of quality and safety. By being part of The Health Suite, you can feel rest assured that Simply Menopausal meets the high standards required to provide you with a level of care and treatment that is among the best in the country. Appointments are conducted preferably face to face, but can be virtual via a secure video link as an alternative. All prescriptions can be posted to anywhere in the UK.
